Free early access

Be first to test new Nereus products — for free

Get early access to free Nereus beta hardware and software, put it on a real reef system, and help us improve controllers, devices, and care products before wider release. In return, you help shape the roadmap and get hands-on with what is coming next — without buying a finished retail SKU.

What is the Nereus beta program?

The Nereus beta testing program is a country-aware enrollment portal where approved testers request open beta products at no charge, receive shipments with tracking, confirm delivery, and submit bugs, UX notes, and feature feedback directly to the Nereus team. It is the official way to join product trials for Nereus Live and related reef aquarium technology — not a generic survey form.

Whether you search for a free reef aquarium controller beta test, aquarium hardware testing opportunities, or the Nereus beta signup, this portal is where applications, free evaluation units, firmware notices, and feedback threads live in one place.

Who can apply?

We open registration by country as capacity allows. Applicants need a valid shipping address so we can send beta hardware, plus a working email for account confirmation. After you verify your email, our team reviews your application. Approved testers can request products that are open in their region. Seat limits and waitlists may apply so we can support every participant properly.

  • Reef hobbyists running active systems who can test in real conditions
  • Professionals and advanced keepers comfortable reporting clear, reproducible feedback
  • Testers in countries where the program is currently open for registration

How beta testing works

  1. Create an account — Register with your shipping details and accept the beta terms.
  2. Confirm your email — Activate your account from the link we send, then wait for admin approval.
  3. Request a product — Browse open beta products available in your country and request to join.
  4. Receive your shipment — Track carrier updates in the portal and confirm when the product arrives.
  5. Test and report — Submit bugs, UX issues, and general feedback; reply in-thread when we respond.

Feedback is unlocked after you confirm receipt of the product. That keeps reports tied to real use of the hardware or software under test — not speculation before delivery.

What you can test

Open betas vary over time and by region. Typical Nereus trials may include reef controllers and dashboard experiences, supporting devices, reagents or care products, and related firmware updates announced inside the portal. Each product page in the tester dashboard explains availability, seat status, and how to request enrollment.

Why join a Nereus beta?

  • Be among the first to try new Nereus products — free beta access, not a retail purchase
  • Help us improve real reef gear with structured feedback the engineering team actually uses
  • Get shipped evaluation hardware (where available) and track it in a dedicated tester portal
  • Receive firmware and program updates in one place instead of scattered email threads

Worldwide access

The program is designed for international participation. Availability depends on open countries and product quotas. If your country is not open yet, check back later or contact Nereus through the main site. When registration is open for your region, you can apply from this page, confirm your email, and join the approval queue.
